ESC receives equipment and furniture from GIZ
As part of efforts to boost the service delivery capabilities of the Energy Service Centre, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the “Sustainable Energy for Climate” project implemented by GIZ Ghana donated a set of testing and measurement equipment to the ESC.
The equipment include an Electronic Combustion Analyzer, Ultrasonic Flowmeter, Ultrasonic Leak Detector for Compressed Air and Steam, Pressure Gauges and Electrical/Insulating Gloves. Others are Arc flash face shields, IV Curve Tracers, a Shading analysis kit, a handheld infrared camera, and a drone with a thermal camera.
These devices will enable the ESC to provide thorough assessments of energy consumption and identify potential areas for optimization across various industrial processes, and on solar installations.
The Centre also received a set of office furniture and other office equipment to facilitate meetings at the Centre.
